I started this journey in 2005, to honor my younger sister, Patti. We lost her when she was barely 31. Through the years I have  met SO many others affected and way too many other names have been added to my ‘I Walk For:’ list.

I cannot do much, but I CAN put one foot in front of the other as my (very) small contribution to raise awareness and funds to help get the this beast gone..

I walked every Michigan 3Day from 2005-2019 (15x). I have also walked in San Diego (2015, 2018, 2021), DFW (2016, 2022), Seattle (2017), Boston (2019, 2024), Chicago (2022, 2023) and Denver (2023,2024). For MANY years walking 2 events per yr.

People ask me all the time why I continue to walk year after year…and the answer is simple, this fight is NOT over. So *I* will keep walking as long as I am physically able, and as long as I can continue to raise the funds to do so…because I cannot ‘walk away’.

I have some fantastically generous and loyal donors, without whom I would NOT be able to continue walking, and I truly CANNOT fully express how much I appreciate their continued support.

I walk 60 miles in 3 days for:

♥ My sister, Patti Jo (Holland) Watson (11/3/65 - 2/4/97) Taken from her 3 young children, her parents, our siblings, her aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends when she was barely 31 years old.

♥ My Momma & Daddy - NO parent should EVER lose their child to cancer.

♥ My 3 sisters, Cyndi, Tina, and Mary - I am so very thankful to have them.

♥ My 5 daughters, Jenny, Tina, Nina, Rachel, & Sasha; my daughters-by-another-mother Megan & Kaylie, my 3 sweet granddaughters, Raina, Brooklyn, & Tanner; and my adorable nieces, Dani (Danielle), Deyar, Gabriella, Brandy, Kayla, & Kyra, & my great-niece Aaliyah.

♥ My 3 handsome sons Bobby (Robert), LG (George), and Jamie (James), & my 6 adorable grandsons, Donovan, James, Jacob, Carter, Jonathan, & Adrian.

♥ My dear ‘Sisters of the Heart’, LeAnn & Celeste - who manage at least ‘tolerate’ me and ALWAYS support me (no matter what).

♥ My Aunts & Uncles, my cousins & my friends, for people I have never even met, & for YOU.

As long as I CAN still put 1 foot in front of the other or until a cure is found
